About Me
Introduction and Healing Philosophy
My name is Amy Hendrickson. I am a healer, mother, wife, and life long learner. My passion for energy medicine began when my children were babies. Again and again, the power of energy medicine astounds me. I am happy to be able to share my skills with family and clients. I use both my intuition and my intellectual knowledge in my healing practice.
I have many tools in my holistic healer’s toolbox. I regularly use a variety of energy medicines: flower essences, cell salts, homeopathy, reiki. I have a special affinity toward flower energy. I tend to use flower essences from the Australian Bush Flower Essence line, but I also use essences that I’ve created myself, as well as essences from the English line. Alongside energy medicine, my deep knowledge of health-giving foods and carefully selected supplements can help support a person’s shift towards health.
I firmly believe that a body wants to be healthy
and a spirit wants to feel peace and joy.
When a body is given assistance, it will begin to shift towards greater
physical, mental and spiritual health.
*****I am not a doctor, and although I am happy to share my experiences, knowledge, and flower essence blends, my work should never take the place of your doctor. I highly recommend that you communicate with your doctor your concerns, and the possible solutions you decide on your own or with me. ***** medical disclaimer
My Experiences with Flowers and Flower Essences
“I love being in this moment, my bottles in front of me.
I am: thinking, feeling, understanding what is needed,
puzzling over the co-factors,
loving the feeling of ‘yes, this is it.’”
I have been in love with flower essences for years now, especially the Australian Bush Flower Essence line. I have seen and felt profound changes within my family, my friends, and myself. I intuitively pick essences and then go back and intellectually check to see if those choices make sense. By doing it this way – first intuition and then intellect – I have had some profound “aha!” moments. Sometimes flowers come to the surface which I didn’t realize were a priority. Sometimes flowers speak to me, saying they are needed, but not quite yet; other essences are a priority at this time. Some essences are co-factors with other essences and work amazingly together, performing differently together than when they are apart. I love being in this moment, my bottles in front of me. I am: thinking, feeling, understanding what is needed, puzzling over the co-factors, loving the feeling of ‘yes, this is it.’
I have a gift, a gift of healing. A gift of creating blends that help release negative emotions which can cause your spirit and body to not perform in the way that it wants to.
I can help you release these negative emotions that bog down health and healing, which make it so much harder to experience a deeper joy and gratitude in life.
Flowers speak to me. Huh? you say. Literally, I mean. If they want me to make them into a flower essence, I can feel their energy. If it is really strong, I can feel them when I walk by. Or, I can feel them when my hands touch their petals. My hands will feel their energy for hours later. They then give me a message of how they can help. Sometimes I need to go back to the flowers a couple of times to be able to hear, and I always love those extra moments, enjoying the beauty of the flowers, experiencing their texture, being open. Often, it is simply a word — “Sadness” was from some deeply pink flowers and a feeling of who can use them. I researched more about them through others and deepened my knowledge. Other times, I hear who they are meant for, “for a person like Sam”. I then deeply understand what they are for, because I deeply understand my 8-year-old son.
Who would have thought I could talk to flowers,
hold their energy in my hands?
That I could transfer their beautiful gift of healing into an essence,
to share with people who are in need of it and ready to receive it…You know, I think I always did.

You are such a blessing to this Earth. We are in such a great need for healers and I’m so glad you’ve come forward to lift people up to live at their highest level of well being. It’s a beautiful thing!
